I feel airy because my head has nothing inside. Much like this rabbit, waiting for its head to dry...

I'm working at Woodlands checkpoint and the scenery is spectacular...

I have a new job as a health screening asssistant and it's really exhausting.

I'm so sick of wearing masks and latex gloves for 13 hrs a day and if i'm stationed at the bus terminal to check the drivers' temperatures, i smell car exhaust fumes everyday. Urgh! (But that's a lot better than working at the cargo area. The guys have to wear N95 masks and they have a high chance of getting lung cancer). But the only consolation is that i get to see this really cute officer every morning. Yup, only in the mornings. Maybe at night, if you're lucky, you can catch sight of police dogs sniffing out drugs and other illegal stuff in the buses. Those dogs are so adorable and well behaved. There was one dog that likes to circle round and round its officer whenever it gets down from the bus. Cute!

Yesterday, i almost fell asleep when sitting on the railing beside the bus drop off point and i nearly fell down! It's so hot and sticky to be stationed at the curb where buses stop to be inspected. But it's a hell lot better than sitting inside the air-conditioned tent and check the passengers' temperatures (cos there's no one that i can talk to). A few days ago, the officers caught a bus driver bringing in illegal porn dvds into the checkpoint! They were laughing and shaking their heads when they dumped the dvds onto the table. In the end, they told the bus driver to dispose of the dvds and recorded his passport details. I heard that if you are recorded more than three times for smuggling illegal things , you can be banned from coming into Singapore.

Even though i fell sleep on the mrt everyday from work and my head tends to hang precariously on the shoulder of the person sitting besides me, i think working at the checkpoint is really fun. I just wish they can send me to harborfront. It's way cooler to get onto the cruise and scan everybody's temperatures. I've also heard that lunch over there is provided by the chefs on the ship! Now that is awesome.
