I feel airy because my head has nothing inside. Much like this rabbit, waiting for its head to dry...

I'm still in my maternal uncle's house, lazying around trying to study Japanese on my own. I think I can almost memorise the hiragana. It was hard trying to self-study!

Once in a while, I'll feed the tortoise or go to the rooftop and admire the grapes. I've tried one and it was sour beyond your wildest imagination! The crunchy unrippened drop of green. Its sole purpose is to drap around the fence and the gate and create a spot of shade for the garden benches below.

Speaking of that rooftop garden, it is the sole patch of green among the dusty buildings around. Standing there made me feel as though I'm a little girl in a small enclosed garden overlooking the vast expanse of grey buildings and the hazy sky: just me and the whole wide world.

China's Internet connection is a major failure!
I cant even access my blog without using some underground software to bypass the security blanket. From here on, I shall bid Facebook goodbye: not even the best illegal method can successfully tackle the Chinese web security. I've managed to pass through the first stage but the slow internet speed proved to be the killer. It burst the usually calm bubble I am and made me give up waiting for the Facebook security password to load. But on a brighter side, I can still read my beloved mangas online!
Thank god I have a way to keep myself sane in this foreign land. Even this blog is banned here and I wouldnt be able to type all these without using a secret passage.

I just went to intern in a minute private degin firm near my uncle's house and boy it was harsh! The air was stifling and Chinese language proved to be a killer. I was a near disaster as I tried to tackle Photoshop in chinese and use a completely new software called CorelDraw. WHT?!
Can I please bring my own mac there tomorrow? Pretty please?
They assigned me to come out with a poster with communist themes, well I presume they want a communist-inspired poster, so I did a Andy Warhol meet Mao Ze Dong kinda poster. And the guy whom I'm supposed to work with laughed in exasperation when he saw what I'd came up with and said my style greatly differ from their's. I believe I did a Western interpretation of a Chinese theme. Oh well, he's probably gonna throw my idea into the bin in the end.

I wanna go home!

Tiredness overwhelms me

I'm so damn tired.
Seriously. Organizing events is hard! When you've actually started on the planning and are about to execute it, you realise how nearly impossible they are. Time lags, red tapes, uncertainties all overwhelm you in a huge tsunami. Why has it to be you who shoulder all responsibilities and chase after everyone else? Well, you're the event coordinator of course! I seriously hope this Sparex canvassing event will be over quickly without any glitches. I have much to accomplish during my holdays. Including the awful reprinting of my 2D book! Familiarity breeds contempt, I'm beginning to hate this whole idea of publishing handmade books! Such stupidity you realize when reality sinks in.
Oh well, get over it! It's a once in a lifetime's chance after all.
