I feel airy because my head has nothing inside. Much like this rabbit, waiting for its head to dry...

Love this MV

I just cannot contain my anger and disappointment any longer! I feel that I've learnt absolutely nothing in my Graphic storytelling class! Although it's a fun module to take and allowed absolute freedom of expression, it was ultimately a waste of time.

The last lesson today was an insult to my days of hard work and dedication to actually make a comic book! I received no constructive comment from the teacher and the only thing he said to me was that I didn't seem to spend as much effort on it as my previous assignments because it didn't look polished. WTH!!!!!!!

He even kept my comic book which I'd spent the whole night printing and binding only to tell me that he needed to read it more closely at home and would only give me comments via email. Right! I was the only person who was present that received no critique at all.

I'm so DISAPPOINTED!

Androgy is the IN thing

I must say how much I love Andrej Pejic! He is absolutely gorgeous as a female and male model! The fashion world is beginning to merge menswear and womenswear campaigns, and Andrej is the only model that models for both! That makes him the epitome of a revolutionary trend: the dissolution of boundaries between sexes.

Andrej modelling for John Paul Gaultier Haute Couture SS2011. I wish there's more guys like him!

I've just had the most horrible revelation today – I cannot S/U my art criticism class!

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

What have I gotten myself into?! My grades will be so screwed up for this semester!!!! Why did I even think that I can S/U my art crit this semester?! Another equally frightening thing is that I can't S/U my Graphic Storytelling class either!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Lesson learnt: I'm only allowed to S/U my GERs like.....Biz, Science and my lovely UEs (all those subjects that I'm certain I can do well in)

Sweet nothingness

I wanna run, jump and roll around in those warm whimsical looking clouds that remind me of sweet childhood memories and fairy-tales!
Artist Yellena James has a way to turn the magical realm of daydreams into beautiful, tangible and elaborate pieces of illustrations bursting with colours!

These illustrations are simply divine. Their saccharine sweetness laced with witty organic shapes are absolutely delectable to the eyes!

a semi conclusion for this disastrous semester

Sometimes when you feel like you're floating 1 inch off the ground, like God has opened a fraction of his door to welcome your enlightenment...Wake up! You're just stressed out and haven't had a decent sleep in days and one fraction away from being in a car accident. So get some sleep girl!

Strange as it sounds, I began to appreciate the value of my life when I almost fell asleep when walking home one night. Wobbling unsteadily in my hazing state of mind as I walked in an imaginary curvy line that almost had me falling of the pavement onto the road. Life this semester is absolute 'DREADITUDE'! My only consolation is in my decent memory and my writing skills that have somehow saved my skin many a times. I just hope they will continue to rescue the rest of my grades from the brink of despair.

Modular structure

Lately, I've been working on my momento for Graphic Design class and I thought that modular structures represent my ideals pretty well. Since they look organic and like some celestial creation, why not? So i found many sources and here's a pretty easy video on making one of those objects. I've also read that origami structures play an important part in Engineering and making foldable satellite dishes! Paper folding is impressive!
